the how's and why's
When I first got into InuYasha around late 2002 - I instantly took a liking to the series because the story revolved around Feudal Japan, demons, and dead things in general. My favorite character at the time was InuYasha himself, because he was such a rash, bold character, and I seemed to favor that in alot of characters while I was younger. Though, when Kouga came along, my love for the main character dissolved almost instantly. What was it about him that was love at first sight? I think it was seriously the hair and those cerulean eyes. To find out that his personality was even more impulsive than InuYasha made him become my favorite! There's just something about his pride that attracted me to him - even though he's blinded by hate, he's very determined to avenge his fellow fallen comrades (courtesy of Kagura and Naraku), the loyalty in his leadership is unwavering. Even though i'm not exactly a huge InuYasha fan, i'll always be a huge fan of Kouga (and Kagura), because he holds a sentimental feeling on me. I think Kouga is one of the first characters i've ever taken seriously as a pre-teen, alongside Kagura. Kouga and Kagura = ♥♥ my inuyasha loves!
